🌿🦆 Kindy’s Mini Swamp/Creek Adventure! 🐦🌱
Today, our Kindy students ventured out to the swamp near Ollie Worrell Reserve for a little nature adventure!
The students listened carefully for bird calls, spotted dragonflies and different species of ducks, and were fascinated by the ibis nests and breeding grounds. 🪺🦋
After our nature exploration, it was time for some play at the park! 🌳☀️ Our Kindy students were wonderful throughout the adventure, showing such curiosity, excitement and respect as they explored their surroundings.

🍭 Year 1 Lolly Jar Raffle – Supporting The Shopfront 🍭
Next week, our wonderful Year 1 students will be leading a Lolly Jar Raffle as part of their learning about service and helping those in need. All money raised will be donated to Shopfront, supporting people experiencing homelessness in our community.
There are two fantastic lolly jars to be won:
🍬 Pre-Kindy to Year 2 Lolly Jar
🍬 Years 3 to 6 Lolly Jar
Tickets:
🎟️ 1 ticket for 50c
🎟️ 5 tickets for $2.00
Tickets will be sold daily Monday - Thursday during Week 10:
⏰ Morning: 8:25am - 8:45am
⏰ Afternoon: 3:05pm - 3:25pm
The lucky winners will be drawn on Thursday after lunch in Week 10.
We are incredibly proud of our Year 1 students and Miss Carter for taking the lead in this initiative and living out our school values of Joy, Growth and Service. Every ticket purchased will help support those who are doing it tough and demonstrate the generosity of our school community.

Our school was filled with colour, creativity and some truly amazing characters as our students brought their favourite books to life. 🥰
Book Week is about so much more than dressing up. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the joy of reading, spark imaginations and remind our students that books can take us on adventures, introduce us to new worlds and inspire a lifelong love of learning.

Celebrating our talented Year 6 artists! 👏🏼
This term, a number of our Year 6 students had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the Angelico Art Exhibition, showcasing their creativity, talent and thoughtful artistic expression.
A special congratulations to Reese, who received a Highly Commended award in the Fra Angelico Category for her beautiful piece, “In the Eyes of God”.
Reese’s artwork was inspired by John 13:7 and the message, “Everything happens for a reason, even if you don’t realise it in the moment.”
We are incredibly proud of Reese and all of our Year 6 students who represented our school through their wonderful artwork.
